Community Service

Part of being involved with the Balanced Man Project is making a commitment for the betterment of our surrounding community.

For over 22 years, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon have put thousands of hours into West Chester and the surrounding communities, earning many awards but more importantly, helping those less fortunate then us.

Our local philanthropy is the American Heart Association.  Some examples of the work we have done is clean up and put in a new park in Kensington (Philadelphia), cleaned up Bayard Rustin Park of West Chester, help new students and freshman move into the dormitories, and clean up the streets of West Chester.

During the tragedies of September 11th, Penn Tau acted quickly and within hours of the attacks, there were two money accounts set up for the American Red Cross organized by SigEp and a candlelight vigil was held at the chapter house.
