The Balanced Man Program
The Balanced Man Program is unlike any other fraternity
development program in the world. Researched in the late 1980's, the new
program was finalized in 1989.
The Balanced Man Program is a four-year member development
program that is appealing to undergraduates because it not only focuses on
chapter development, but individual development as well. Areas such as
community involvement, campus involvement, and the ritual are some of the main
focal points of the BMP. The BMP also is geared to living with a sound
mind and sound body, a philosophy first implored by the ancient Greeks.
SigEp believes in developing it's members for life, not just
during their college years. The BMP coincides with this belief, first by
eliminating the "pledge period." This was a revolutionary
breakthrough in the fraternal world and again SigEp was the catalyst to do so.
The BMP is divided into six stages. They are Sigma, Phi,
Epsilon, Brother Mentor, Fellow, and Alumnus Mentor.

FACT: SigEp's member development program was
voted the best on campus for Greeks! Another reason why the Balanced Man Program
is the future for the way fraternities develop their members in a safe
environment.
